Happy New Year!

 Welcome, 2022!


Happy New Year, Willow River Staff!

I hope your holidays and break were amazing - and that you were able to eat, drink and be merry with family and friends as much as I did =)  It is my wish that everyone was able to rest, refresh, and revel in time spent on the things that you enjoy doing.

The end of December is always a crazy mix of school, home, and end of year things to do - which often makes January sneak up on us!  When I was thinking about what to put in the blog today, I thought about something inspirational about setting goals, etc. - but then realized, we just need a heads up on what's coming up in the next few weeks!

Here's what January holds...

Important Dates

  • January 17 - Culters Fundraiser Night
  • January 20 - Family Boot Camp
  • January 21 - NO SCHOOL - Professional Development Day
  • January 25 - 4th/5th Orchestra Concert (HHS)
  • January 27 - Data Roll Through 
  • January 27 - STEAM Family Night
  • January 28- Will-o-mania
  • January 29 - Winter Family Event - skating at Burton Field (1:00-3:00)

PBIS Reboot:

  • Week of Jan. 3 - Hallways
  • Week of Jan.. 10 - Cafeteria
  • Week of Jan. 17 - Playground
  • Week of Jan. 24 - Bathrooms

Assessments

  • End of Math Unit 4 - interim math assessments in DnA (gr. 2-5)
  • Word Knowledge Inventory (WKI) for those students that need it
  • January 3-28 - FastBridge window for reading and math (K-5)
  • January 3-13 - ACCESS Testing (Samantha Thane) 
  • January 21 -  BAS Update in Illuminate
