Every Kid Needs a Champion (3 min)

As we begin this new school year, I want to remind you of the power of the staff-student relationship.  Research (and our hearts) supports that this is a highly effective strategy to help students feel comfortable, connected, and ready to learn.  Think of this as we open our doors on the first day, and kids return to school - some excited, some anxious, some new and uncertain, some confident, some frightened.  Be the one that lights up for the students that need it.  From what I've seen and heard, this is something that Willow staff does extremely well - 

so keep doing what you're doing!
